Is Gov. Palin Going To Be That Bad?

It seems that the Mccain campaign is pre-empting the debate with ads to lessen the effect of Gov. Palin's expected failure in tonight's debate. In elections it seems that if you can't beat them, just smear them.

This is unusual -- typically the game is to work to lower expectations of your own candidate. Is this actually airing anywhere (as paid advertising) or is this just for the media?

It seems that this is just media.
Brilliantly edited, but seems to be lacking in any real content.
I do wonder why I haven't seen (although it might be out there more often) the quote about the 711 and Dunkin Donuts used more by the McCain campaign to point out definite biases that Mr. Biden has in his mind.

How would I know if its a TV ad or just a media release?

Steven: that's a good question, and there's no simple answer; some googling will get you to some sites that try to track ad buys, but it usually takes some work to get a sense as to whether an "ad" is really a paid advertisement or, in essence, a press release.
